Especially for pizza, I want to open the box first before I decide on the size of the tip. If it’s all scrunched up towards one side of the box, and the driver hasn’t said something like “man, I almost got jackknifed on the way here and had to slam my brakes; I hope your pizza is okay!”, expect a smaller tip.

That makes no sense. Stopping going out because someone might harm you takes away a serious benefit to avoid a very low risk. Same with not driving because you might get in an accident.

Plenty of people get food poisoning without even realizing it.

The bottom line is that many kinds of mold can grow in bread, and some are harmless to us, others can kill people, and you don’t know what kind of mold you’re looking at in the bread, so that’s the danger.

There’s fungal infections, and there’s fungal toxins... Toxins can’t be “killed off” by your immune system.
