I like a good hamburger, fries and apple pie as much others, but when I indulge, I also eat correspondingly less of something else, and/or do a good long exercise session to offset it.
If 10 of 16 fall on both lists, I think correlation is guaranteed. The question is if there is some causation at play. I’m thinking it’s possible.
Note that the white markings are not present in the nymph stage, and what’s shown in the article picture is a nymph. And yes, the nymphs bite and spread disease too, you’re just half as likely to get an infected tick, but this is unfortunately offset by the nymph ticks being less detectable than the adult ones.
I wonder whether there’s a correlation between the states with the highest ratio of fast food restaurants to citizens and the average weight of the citizens.
Without implying causation either way, of course.
Doesn’t seem all that sanitary to me.
That is both dangerous and stupid.
Don’t make up garbage. No one can do 10 miles of highway in a day. And if it did only take them a day you can be damn sure they’d be back three months later to do it again.
That they have improved doesn’t mean there’s no room for a lot more improvement. They seem allergic to spices, for one thing. If it doesn’t have a good amount of oregano, pepper flakes and garlic on it, it’s just not a pizza I’d want to eat.
It’s not only graffiti, but can be a danger too. Someone might interpret the marking as a hazard, or as a divider, or just be distracted. There are reasons why you’re not allowed to paint advertising on the road, even on your own road next to public roads.
I don’t know if this is an attack on people wanting lower taxes but most people who desire lower taxes don’t want basic needs like roads negated, but rather want their taxes spent more wisely.
If that were the case, it should be the lead in to question 1.
As far as I know, sunlight converts cholesterol into a proto-vitamin D, which the liver then finishes converting into Vitamin D.
So you also need cholesterol, which should never be a problem, and a working liver, which sometimes can be.
I think people should remember that the server is not the chef.
If you put “What do you recommend?” on a list of “pain in the backside” questions, like you just did, you are the problem, not them.
After question #2, the reply should have been “I’ll bring you a sample”.
By mentioning the actual ingredients in cocktail sauce, for starters.
Home fries and smashed potatoes is just a euphemism for “we’re too lazy to peel potatoes”.
The real problem is that some places try to pass them on as french fries or mashed potatoes, so I always ask whether there’s skin on the potatoes. If so, I order something else.
The problem is that in America, consumers glomp on to combinations and never ever question them or try an alternative. So rye bread is always made with caraway - if not seeds, then ground seeds. And fish is always served with lemon. And hot sauces always have vinegar. There is no problem with people liking it that…
And there are roughly the same number of unattractive men and women. And the same number of socially awkward men and women. If you are punching outside your weight class, expect to be disappointed. No one owes you anything.
