I’m usually more disciplined than I’ve been in 2019, largely owing to buying a souped-up laptop and being reintroduced to “adequate for PC gaming” for the first time in over half a decade.

In over thirty years of playing and loving videogames, I cannot think of another time I have so desperately wanted to love a game, but had to finally stop banging my head against it in the hope that fun would eventually pop out.
