It isn’t though. The number of effects artists has only increased over the years, going from teams of a few folks to thousands on some of these bigger movies.  This is not what the WGA or SAG are striking about. Period.

Are you under the impression that all of those things were somehow AI? Now, quality issues aside, thousands of artists were behind that animation. A “Computer Film” as you put it, is in no way the same thing anyone is talking about here.

These actually were individually released about a year ago, these are just non-steelbooks. The restorations look excellent. These movies are meant to be seen on a big screen.

She’s an original creation like Rickey Rouse and Monald Muck.

Yeah I’m sure I’ll get someone angrily yelling at me but ... fuck this headline so much. Not only that but the headline of the recap as well. I get that the site is dying and that even outrage clicks count for ad revenue but...this was my last straw with this site. I’m done. I may not have been a huge commenter so who

Yes! Always loved that too, and the fact that they didn’t feel the need to call extra attention to the joke.

Yeah exactly, I don’t know where that idea even popped up... Not only is the Stark/William Hurt connection there but also Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky, Tim Blake Nelson’s Leader (reprising his role in this very movie).... but also... they’ve had clips of it cut into the movies in several instances when showing the Hulk’s

Oh, Britta’s in this?

I mean... a vast majority of people disagree so...maybe this is a you thing?

Agreed. I pretty much love all of his work, but I cannot begin to fathom the love for The Master (besides Hoffman’s overlooked fantastic performance). I don’t know how a list that can wax poetic about Magnolia  being pretentious (I mean...it is, but that’s part of it) can unironically heap praise on The Master.

Agreed, I’d argue that the film has a “one or two bad scenes” that essentially drag the film into a lower tier, but besides those it is absolutely firing on all cylinders. It’s takes on characters like Banner, Widow and Thor are unfortunately some of the series-worst...but it’s not like they didn’t all come back from

Counterpoint... It may do half-decent next weekend, as people having seen it will be able to tell their friends it’s “not as bad as people were saying”, and the few holdbacks will check it out.

Wait...are you telling me Vera Wang’s also-famous niece isn’t a grounded human being and positive role model?

I mean, I wasn’t a fan of Tenet, but Nolan’s argument was that filmmakers who weren’t him (and didn’t have his sway) were being taken advantage of. And they were.

Peak sass. Take your star sir.

October 6th is when it moves to the free tier.

I mean, you can definitely be forgiven for not knowing... Agent Carter’s canonical status is...murky. It’s never been officially decanonized like the Netflix shows, but...if you watch the Marvel Legends episode specifically dedicated to Peggy Carter that came out this week there is nothing from the show included.

ya ya ya

You might want to ask film and television Production Assistants how they feel about that.

Completely agree. I think she should absolutely be able to ask for more than what they offered initially, status and all, but she’s essentially asking them to completely tank the established budget of the show to go with her, something that would likely end up with the show having to cut the episode order, which would
