Well when it's come to the last two cars I bought it's been replacing important driveline components (most recently an entire engine). For an s2000 I'd say to change fluids and all filters, and check vacuum lines. My old co-worker had an ap1 and his used a lot of oil too btw, so if changing the pcv doesn't fix it…

Good point about needing something with clearance and all wheel drive. One of the boosted Subaru wagons would be great!
