I don't think Dodai is attacking Kate's looks though. She only points out that she is thin, blonde and conventionally attractive, which is obviously true and hardly critical nor offensive.

Oh but there are definitely a lot of trust fund babies or kids living off of daddy's bank account, especially right here in NYC.
Right? I can't believe people throw down $20,000 for cars. or $200,000 for houses. CRAZY!
That's funny, although the Cameron I know is also born around the late 60's. I just realized that it could possibly be a unisex name, like Cameron Diaz??
Really? I've only ever met one Cameron in my life. Though I do have positive connotations with the name because the guy was very cool :)
Sadly, I think a lot of people still think like that.
I guess Dodai meant to criticize the magazine and fashion industries but she had to use one really good example to make her point and Kate was it. I don't think this was particularly offensive towards Kate herself, it just states the obvious truth that she is blonde, conventionally attractive and thin.
Trust me, you don't want to. You date one Michael that turns out to be a total douchebag and you will never be able to look at Michaels the same way again.
Yeah, that's probably why you see a lot of cute variations in the spelling of girl's names and none of it in boy's names. I.e. Jasmyne, Caitee, Jenni, etc etc.
Yep! 26 and just met my first Jacob a few weeks ago. Well I didn't meet him, my friend was in a lip lock with him at the club.
i feel the same way too. I always thought Cameron was a lovely name for a boy, that isn't too popular nor weird.
