As much as I respect her Steinem has become rather embarrassing as she’s gotten older. Like Bell Hooks, she occasionally comes out with one of those ill thought out fuddy-duddy grandma-isms that make you roll your eyes and want to take the remote away from them.

True enough. I thought I remembered Warren outright giving her endorsement to Sanders, but I’m wrong. There’s certainly no love lost between Warren and Clinton, and Warren has defended Sanders on his actions more than once.

Oh my GOD, Steinem. How is this helping?!?

So have I - I always was, but the more I see how people really need the government to step up when they find themselves vulnerable, be it illness, just age, or employment issues, the more liberal I become. I have an aunt (9 years my senior) who has the stones to say since people make their employment choices

As much as I’d like a women president just so that society could start getting over seeing a women in charge as a threat, I appreciate that we should elect the best option, not the only option.

I don’t think Elizabeth Warren is boy-crazy, Steinem. I don’t think far-left women are boy-crazy. I think they’re just socialist.

My 65 year old mom supports Bernie. Maybe I should warn my dad about what she’s really up to, before she runs off with a Berniebro!

Pretty horrible, but sums up what many Hilary supporters believe. Somehow because I’m a woman I should be voting for Hilary because she’s one as well. Or I’m sexist because I don’t vote for Hilary. Everyone wants to talk about BernieBros, but Clinton supporters are just as bad (if not worse) when it comes to these

*Rolls eyes*

Since Ellie won’t tell us what the rumor is, here are a few for consideration:

That the ignoble cretin Ted Cruz has managed to slink his way up to this level of prominence in society is truly an indictment of society’s hierarchical system. That, and I really hate his odious demeanour. And face. His face is rather punchable.

A fellow debater who often traveled to debates with Cruz described him, witheringly, as “an extreme fan of the Les Misérables soundtrack.”

I’m really standing by my human Gollum comment. I’ve never heard of a more unlikable man. That shouldn’t matter but it doesn’t sound like he’s even a nice guy. Calling a girl’s mother a whore and making her cry. My god.

Wunker, a registered Democrat, told me: “I did contribute to Ted’s Senate campaign thinking he never had a chance, doing it out of solidarity for a former friend, and here he is.”

“Because of this, I can’t print it here, despite its considerable entertainment value.”

“Sort of a stud on the debate circuit” sounds like “sort of a Casanova amongst the blind, deaf and dumb” or “sort of an Eliot Spitzer on the brothel circuit” or “sort of a DSK on the maid circuit.”

I’m about his age (college years 89-93). I have a list of people in my mind whose candidacy for anything above small-town county commissioner would be inconceivable:

A fellow debater who often traveled to debates with Cruz described him, witheringly, as “an extreme fan of the Les Misérables soundtrack.”

“As telegenic as an undertaker” is a phrase I never knew I needed in my life until now
