If I met this couple at an event or a dinner party, I would think they were nice people. They probably are nice people.
Why not? I love books. If they want to protest that way, it's cool. They're not being loud or disruptive.
They made sure to sit her right behind where Trump was speaking so they could play the whole “How can he be racist if THE BLACKS like him?!” card.
Classy as hell. Not being rude during the speech, not interrupting the speaker, but sure as shit showing him what you feel about him.
I hope all the people, on this blog especially, who whined about why those pesky protesters didn’t protest at Trumps rallies are finished. They did, and they were demeaned, degraded, and attacked for their efforts. Are you Satisfied?
Wonderful that you tracked this young woman down and that she agreed to be interviewed.
I love her. What a smart, clever way to take a stand that spoke volumes in a sea of hate.
Oh shit, what an awful suckfest of an event. I’m so glad she took this opportunity to talk about that rabid terrifying crowd.

I just heard an insanely nice story. An old man named peg-leg bob (you heard me and yes he had a real peg-leg) passed away a few years back hometown. He was a lonely old coot with no family and ate at the same steak place 4 times a week, eating the same thing every time. I had to go to that restaurant yesterday for a…
My aunt has a friend who rocks the Santa look - beard, belly and all. So they took my cousin’s kid to meet him one year and took pictures. They sent out framed pics of the kid with Santa Dude for Christmas, so I put it up on display.
My uncle as he has aged has gone from looking like Jerry Garcia with good hygiene to pretty much owning the Santa look as his hair went from gray to white.
