Oh Sheryl...honey...why! I guess it’s not surprising though. Her Lean In was remarkably tone-deaf and narrow-minded, and a high-powered politico calling for family time (even in a dubious context) fit her ideal so easily that she couldn’t resist. As a trans woman, I’m deeply confused by this. Playing a crossdressing man is probably second only to detransitioning on my list of things I would not want to do. And that’s not even getting into the issue of ignorant cis people confusing trans women with crossdressing dudes to begin with.
