Dude’s sloppy AF and would have been caught on his own, but my social contract has a don’t talk to cops understanding, because they’re not good participants in our society.

At the rate games are coming out lately, we should see a sequel to cyberpunk 2077 in... about 50 ish years.
Fuck you
Calling the cops for any reason in America comes with the implicit understanding that someone might get shot in the face within moments of them pulling up on the scene, without any provocation.
Who gives a shit?
Boo fucking hoo.
It wasn’t a leak, insofar as a developer or a reviewer breaking an embargo, it was (allegedly) a straight-up theft of physical copies of the game and reselling them for profit.
What’s extra pathetic is that he obviously did this to boost his own ego, but hides behind excuses like “it hurts the developer.” The game comes out on Friday. A leak a week before a game comes out is supposed to harm Bethesda how exactly?
This was my thought too. What an absolute dork
He’s so smug and proud it’s honestly pathetic. People like this are just so intensely lame.
“I am now a pariah of that subreddit,” Adkins wrote in his initial email. “I get it, hype and excitement are at an all-time high. I’m just as excited as the next person, but I draw the line at theft. I was raised to believe that crime doesn’t pay. I had hoped our society, and so-called Bethesda fans could be held to…
There is a standard that Bethesda is held to that no one else is and that’s wild to me personally.
im gonna play it, then play it with mods. like most bethesda games. peeps love to complain but they know deep inside they lack any talent to do anything like it. now youtubers on the other hand, hates get clicks so they will just roll with the monkey see monkey do. games aint perfect but i will enjoy what i can from…
haha my 9yo son saw some leaves sticking through a fence the other day and said “hey Dad, a Bethesda fern!”
I assume it’s because of Kotaku being blacklisted by Bethesda a few years back. Every article about one of their games has a snarky attitude. I’m just glad to have a big new sci-fi universe that’s somewhat realistic and serious in tone - feels like the last one of those we got was Mass Effect.
ya bethesda has made a lot of my favorite games. i can understand the hate for them given the fo76 debacle but it’s kind of easy for me to just throw that game out as not being predictive of future quality since it was not really in their wheelhouse.
I don’t understand it either. People are purposefully misreading the headline, then not reading the actual quote, and then getting mad that the game has content? I think people just need to be mad about something trivial lol. Either way it’s not going to effect how I view the game so there’s that.
This is exactly how i feel. It's like everyone intentionally misinterpreted the quote !
It’s mostly posturing. These clowns are going to play the games and they know it.
Thinking back on other Bethesda games I’ve played in the past, I certainly didn’t feel like I had really gotten a good grasp on Skyrim or Fallout 4 until I’d been solidly playing for weeks, and that’s a good thing! I love having huge detailed worlds to really explore. If a place is so shallow that I can understand it…
