Genuine question, what did you enjoy about FFXV? For me it’s in the bottom three of FF games I’ve played. It’s certainly pretty but far from a masterpiece IMO.

Dude is free not like a game and to nitpick every little thing if he wants to, but he DID nitpick a bunch of dumb little things as reasons to not enjoy something, which is something that I do see with a ton of gamers.

Why? FF13 was highly successful. It sold faster than any other game in the series, has received great review scores, and has sold more than 7 million copies.

For the love of Sega, bring back Skies of Arcadia. Do an HD remaster that includes the Gamecube content, and restores the Dreamcast soundtrack/audio. As is, there is no definitive version of the game.

Everyone knows that it’s technically more difficult to animate non-white non-cis women character models. Programmers have just recently cracked the code for animating female models. Just wait 5-10 more years, the technology just isn’t there yet!

OH YEAH, there’s a separate post-Stormblood raid series (optional) that made me (an old-school FF fan) actually choke up at the end of one of the fights. Without spoilers, you fight a string of classic bosses and after one of them there’s a little cutscene that if you recognize what it is, you will BAWL.

Stormblood was really fun, what made it stand out to me was the Ivalice raid series and the Monster Hunter crossover was really cool. You can farm that raid for scales and get REALLY nice Monster Hunter transmogs and a Palico pet to follow you around.
