I’m shocked your cats didn’t get to it first. Our cat molests anything that moves in our house seemingly the second it makes it inside. Bugs, frogs, guests, cardboard boxes, etc.
Yah holy shit that Blade cosplay had me like woah
I got this game for my 8th birthday in 1993 and I could only beat the first dungeon. I got stuck in the room in bottle grotto where you had to kill the enemies in a certain order to obtain the nightmare key for a whole year. I didnt actually beat the game until I was 1o, but I played it almost every day after I got…
Your feelings are valid, but your viewpoint is reductive. Almost overnight, the hype for No Man’s Sky went from a chill little indie space game to Star Citizen in the eyes of the public. Yeah, Sean should have been a bit more realistic with his comments - but you have to realize that the hype behind this game led to…
Not all dads
It sounds like the team is heavily ripping off Insurgency: Sandstorm, which includes all of the features mentioned (minus killstreaks) - leaning, breaching doors, mounted guns, no mini-map (although you can pull up a full map with the tab key).
Probably Armored Core, MWCXD, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, King’s Field, and Demon's Souls. These days Bloodborne would be the only switch-up (although I never played Otogi so someone else might pipe up with an alternate opinion).
He's actually pretty good, and that sword is damn sharp.
Truly, I agree with you about the bickering over semantics. Does no one remember how absurd it was when Fox News criticized a newly-elected President Obama for ordering dijon mustard with his burger? And now Dems seem to daily come up with even more absurd, nit-picky complaints that dilute the true narrative: our…
Id say Cyberpunk 2077 should do it, but they already missed the boat by offering pre-order sales early.
Go to the gym. Pay attention in high school because it’s like the first two years of college for free. Those guys making fun of me for being chubby will have shitty, shitty lives. Invest in Amazon. My southern relatives are, in fact, racist, and it's not ok. I could go on...
War. War has changed.
I feel exactly the same. I’ve been playing Final Fantasy since I was a wee lad, starting with FF Mystic Quest at 9 and then FFVI when I was 10 or 11, and in middle school I played VII and Tactics. In High school, I played VIII right when it came out, but I skipped IX. I got my first job and bought a PS2, and bought X…
I do too; I’ve been disappointed ever since the first time I got to the director or mission select screen or whatever it was called in D1 and realized that that was the extent of “space travel” in the game. I also realize that this just ain’t gonna happen, bud.
Yeah EGG was obtuse, but after the first couple hours morphed into something amazing. That ArmorDress fight was one of the coolest "unexpected" moments in a game I can think of.
Not to mention invented QTEs
I still think about my journey to the edge of space and all of the crazy giant armada ships that constantly assail you. The game was great. So sad Armada 2 never released.
Those are depressing stats. The (on foot) combat was so-so, but the world, characters, art, storytelling, exploration - they all are stand at the pinnacle of JRPGs. I would Kickstart the hell out of a sequel or modern reimagining.
