The numerous bad design choices over the years have pretty much eliminated any desire of mine to own one. I’d still do terrible things for an E34 M5 though...

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why German automakers will use plastic parts for sensitive applications. Whether its plastic timing chain guides in VAG products or plastic water pumps on BMWs, its all a terrible idea. Yes metal costs a bit more, but the added security is well worth it.

Driven (2001) with Sylvester Stallone. Its chock full of cheesy dialogue and plot, but the scene where they race the cars through Chicago (IIRC) was pretty cool. Stallone even wrote it too.

I think its a gorgeous car, and being able to afford a coach built Ferrari is the definition of rich, but how is this a “prettier dodge viper”? The back 2/3 profile looks like a viper coupe a  bit, but any other angle is very distinctive. 

I got to test drive one back to back with a E39 M5 and a first gen CTS-V. All three were fast and so much fun. There are certainly faster cars out there today, but I doubt many are as fun as those 20 year old BMWs. I used to love BMW, but over the last 10 years (when i moved into the income bracket to afford them)…

You make a good point about the extravagance that he puts into the homes, but some of those examples were tenuous. The woman was foreclosed on 9 years later? That’s a stretch, a lot can happen in a decade. The bed and breakfast folk, really should have done the slightest amount of research to see if it was even…

She’s a rich, elderly, white woman, I’d be more shocked if she wasn’t racist. 

This is five inches longer than the 370z and visually pretty different. The rear is very different than the outgoing 370. I have no idea on the platform, which could easily be a rework of the outgoing one, but this is clearly more than a “refresh”. 

I love both shows, and have watched every episode. Cartman seldom gets and win, and is usually humiliated in his comeuppance. The other characters openly state how much they hate him, and have since the beginning.

If a sponsor drops him for wearing that shirt, that’s a good indication that the sponsor should be avoided by consumers.

I can’t fathom who thinks anyone would be willing to do that. 

I mean, there can be more than one. Aside from a couple of the workers, everyone else seemed to be quite villainous. 

The amount of work and money it would take to get a Fwd Civic to 8 seconds would make it completely useless for everything else. The impressive part is that you can do times like this, while also using it for daily duties and to cart around your family. Not to mention its a lot cleaner than that civic.
