The customers isn’t robbing the server, the restaurant that doesn’t pay a living wage is.
An automatic gratuity isn’t tipping, its a surcharge. Its 100% about control, as its an amount above and beyond the bill that i’m willing to give to my server. If you take that control away, you might as well just increase the prices and make yourself a non-tipping establishment.
Most taxi drivers simply lease a medallion from someone else, and control their own hours and fares, within regulations. Taxi driver’s who own their own medallions are essentially small business owners.
The problem is that companies like Uber and Lyft want it both ways. They want to call their people independent contractors, since they don’t have to offer benefits or pay payroll tax; but they also want to have full control over those people, including dictating how much they can charge.
Every mole is literally exploded on contact
This is great. 100% impractical, but who cares?
I’ve re-read these comments multiple times, and can’t figure out what he said that was racist or makes him a “trumpturd”. Was a comment deleted?
Because they have to use the legal system to get the information, there is a system of check and balances in place. well, ideally anyways. There is no corresponding system in China. If the ruling party wants what you have, you need to turn it over regardless of the reason.

This is sad, I really liked Jeff Ross, but this is near impossible to deny. She brought receipts.
I’m torn on this one. Security experts have been calling out TikTok for months now, so banning it, or getting it out of Chinese control isn’t unwarranted. However, his insistence that the Treasury gets a piece is pure corruption.
That’s a good question. I would wager he has, but it hasn’t been since he was young. Well, excluding golf carts
He’s been a car enthusiast for decades, which in part resulted in his long-running Onion spoof.
It sounds like you’re conflating two different issues, and a reliance on fusion would almost entirely end the need to mine uranium. You’re right in that fusion doesn’t clean up existing uranium contamination, because they’re completely different issues. Fusion also doesn’t make me dinner, that doesn’t mean its not…
no worries. Happens to the best of us
I think you meant to reply to the other guy. I completely agree with you.
I love that movie for how ridiculous it is. Between the huge gang of serial killers and their not-at-all-inconspicuous axes and Cobra’s 80's laser sight on gun, its just great.
I believe doing everything you can to stop a pandemic is your civic duty, and it was a general comment.
I hope you don’t catch one of the bad strains, and that you don’t end up infected a loved one less capable of fighting it off.
