For sure. If you twisted my arm and absolutely made me write a complaint about my Focus ST, the only thing I could possibly come up with is that it’s pretty small in the boot. Going grocery shopping involves leaving the kids home, or having to go more than once a week. You need that back seat space to take all of what

We have a Fiesta with the PowerShit. It’s as bad as advertised. But, I will say, when it works, the car is a damn blast to drive hard. Even with the auto and the skinny tires, the little bastard wants to do everything you ask, and does everything it can with a chip on its shoulder. I would love to have the Fiesta ST.

Try the ST.... ;)

Every time I see pictures of these beauties, I get even more pissed off than I already am. I would be first in line for that blue ST.

Before we bought our Focus ST, we bought a ‘14 Edge SEL. We also owned a Fiesta and a MKV GTI at the time. We liked the Edge on the test drive, but after a month of ownership we both wanted to slit our wrists. Traded it a month later for the ST and haven’t looked back. What a POS.

Our Cruze is a good car, handles well, and is plenty sporty for what it is, but that 1.4 Turbo is a steaming lump of shit. What baffles me is that they put the 2.0L Turbo and 6-speed into the Buick Verano that shares the platform, but didn’t put out an SS model Cruze? Makes no sense at all, especially as the car

Fiesta, Cruze, GTI, and FoST owner here - Veloster N and GTI are going to be our replacements when the time comes.

I own a ‘14 Cruze, an ‘11 Fiesta SE, a ‘97 VR6 GTI, and a ‘14 Focus ST. The Focus ST is going to be replaced with a Veloster N. The Fiesta will be replaced with a used GTI. We just bought the Cruze, and I’ll die with the MK3.

The Cruze is a good car for the most part, but it’s boring as hell and the 1.4 Turbo is a

Implying I have no sense of humor is about as accurate as implying that this electric pile of sacrilege is a Mustang.

Sounds reasonable. My current Focus ST will be replaced by a Veloster N in pretty short order. Ford has nothing, and is pretty obviously not interested in my business any longer.

Gorgeous resto, quality work, great pictures, a nice bag of rare parts. A perfect example of a MK2 Jetta. Likely not many others like it anywhere. Still way too much money. A sad CP.

Apologies. How about this:

FUCK NO

Better?

Pretty sure I just did.

I could have been in myself if what you implied was true. A sport sedan or liftback that was purely to compete with Tesla or Taycan. But this soccer-mom appliance? GTMFOH.

As a man who’s been a diehard Mustang fan his whole life, an owner of 6 of them, and a generally Ford brand fan - This is fucking disgusting. An absolute whoring of the nameplate. I can’t believe they actually went through with it.

“the average middle-class worker should be able to afford a GT-R.”

God bless you, Matsumoto-san.

*On.

So, hopping in was ‘Prelude’ to carsex? Sign me up!

Agreed, Andrew. Affordable elegance and flowing lines is what I see. And that said, when it comes time - my Focus ST is getting replaced with a Veloster N.
