Yeah. Though I still prefer being able to feel a keyboard or a number pad so my head’s not buried in a phone every time I have to use it, I feel like the tradeoff in favor of more display space and less hardware overall is reasonable.

Totally agree with everyone in this thread. Any designer worth their salt knows about haptic no-look user design. No need to take your eyes off the road when you can feel the different shapes of a knob, button or lever. Touchscreens in cars need to be taken out back and shot.
