In reference to maternity leave yeah it sucks, but from a simple business perspective it is a killer. We(HR & Management) don’t openly talk about it, but we basically see a pregnancy as a 10k loss for the year. As a union hospital it really sucks for management because they know the next hospital with a fake health…

Our RNs easily break 100k some I can see close to 200k. By CNA I mean what you might call in your state a UAP. They take like a 6 week course with a GED and they make bank. Once they get in they almost never leave.

From a basketball perspective it might be best to have one on and one off, but (like you & I) most athletes much prefer their own house, bed, kids, wife, go to mistress, weed, Xbox,... to their job.

I much prefer 5 days on and two days off.

This is good for fans, not so much the players. I couldn’t keep up with the 4 in 5s. I also hated the one game on Wednesday and the next on a Sunday. The players likely loved that Wednesday to Sunday break.

This guy hitchhiked Canada and Europe, but almost immediately after starting to travel the U.S. He gets fucked up.

I hope in the long run I am too. With almost 2 guns per person in the U.S. It might be a very long time.
