Yes, but a significant part of the whole reason was due to the backstory, which is really quite different so far from the comics, and I dont see how they can easily reconcile it. For example, his father is a totally different character, he is choosing to go to his dads church of his own free will, etc.

Its a good point, im sure somewhere in the comics he claims to have super strength, but we hardly ever see anything super. He comes off as very strong, but thats about it.

He has superhuman strength, that's about it I think.

Hes not that ancient according to the comics. Around 100 years old I think.

Agree, I found this the weakest episode yet. There is so much good material in the comics that isn't used, that its rather poor that they made this entire unnecessary episode from scratch.
It felt more like padding than anything else.
