It’s cool, because race car, but I’d prefer this:

Raced at E-town plenty of times. I was there to see the Summernationals this past year too. Sad to see them halting drag racing. This would be like Daytona stopping NASCAR or Laguna Seca stopping road racing.

Second Gear:

I seem to remember that most ‘80s-90s hatchbacks available in the US were basically “sporty-looking coupe with the rear glass attached to the trunk.”

Holy hell, NP!

275 HP 2.0T:

Ground effects were standard on Z28s and IROC-Zs. The ‘82-84 Z28s had different ground effects from the ‘85-90 cars, and the ‘91-92s also had updated ground effects (like the ‘85-90s, but with added vents/scoops). When they dropped the Z28 in 1988, the Z28 ground effects became standard on base model Camaros.

It looks like Mickey Rooney in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”:

Raddest in British history, for sure.

1st gen - Camaro looks better. ‘69 Z/28 with the RS hideaway headlights, ‘nuff said.

I once broke an ashtray cover in a car I used to own by drumming on it too hard.

Marv should become the official Jalopnik mascot for this. Encourage him to send regular updates, and ask him for comments on other stories.

Keep the fender flares, ditch the front bumper for something more prerunner-ish, return the truck back to stock ride height, and put some wide wheels and off-road tires on it. Win.

Porsche has made some great-looking sports cars over the years. The 928 is not one of them.

RPF1's are like “Baby’s First Aftermarket Tuner Wheel.” It’s the wheel people get when they want a lighter wheel, but are too cheap to spring for proper forged wheels. They go browse some forums, see countless other people who went down the same path, and jump on the RPF1 bandwagon.

At $2500, CP.

The Skyline Turbo C looks much better than the Group 5 “Super Silhouette” version. Better proportions and bodywork that doesn’t look like it was tacked on by some ricer kid.

If they’re going to move the gauges to the awkwardly-tacked-on iPad in the center of the dashboard, would it kill them to at least put in a heads-up display on the driver’s side? It fits with the futuristic theme, and allows the driver to see pertinent information without taking their eyes off the road.

I’m assuming he’s trying to look like Frieza from Dragon Ball Z with that white and purple helmet.

I’d say 100 horsepower per 1000 lbs. of curb weight is the magic power to weight to fun ratio.
