Sometimes modern engine bay packaging makes things as basic as replacing filters more difficult than it needs to be; too-tight clearances come to mind.
Make something foolproof, and they’ll come out with a better fool. 38 years is a good run! Did they ever figure how that SUV managed to hang itself out the side last year?
Normally I despise people who sue others over what was their own fault. However, one should be able to park like a fucktard in a garage without exiting the structure from 7 floors up.

Showroom within a showroom they say? I remember Apple’s store within a store concept at Circuit City locations in the late ‘90s. IIRC, all that did was reinforce the idea that Apple needed it’s own retail space. I figure the same will happen here.
Wet roads with a rather rare exotic in the hands of a new owner. I bet they forgot to check the age of the tires. Matt Farah has an insightful piece on this subject.

My wife has a 2008 Solara with the 4 cylinder. It does have the strut tower brace which surprised me the first time I saw it in there.
Maybe if the tipster had bothered to take a photo of the license plate (or temporary tag), we could all look it up and have the answer!
Or, you know, sharing the road with 80,000 lb. big rigs that need a football field to stop, and already contend with a ~10mph speed differential to “regular” traffic. Upping that differential to ~30-40mph is only going to cause loads of problems, especially with how much attention the average driver actually gives to…
