Right up there with shop necessities like the metric crescent wrench, left-handed screwdrivers, muffler bearings, and a can of elbow grease.
It’s not a commuter platform, this would compete more directly with medium-range air travel
Anybody remember the Viper tv show?
It’s almost a direct bolt-up. The stock F-body brackets need a small enlargement of the bracket bolt holes to fit the W-body bolts. Alternatively F-body bolts with stainless sleeves to fit the W-body knuckles will work. I opted for the W-body bolts.
2005 Impala, Base model with the super-floaty cruise suspension.
It’s water vapor in the engine exhaust–a by-product of combustion. The same principle as to why you see so much of a cars exhaust in cold weather. Only there’s a lot more and it’s much hotter when it hits the outside air so it lingers that much longer.
This ignores the ingenuity of automotive engineers to solve the presented problems. Or, if you’re VW, find a way to hide your answer. Everything on the road from the last 30 years has been a product of ever tougher goals. Ford’s going to roll out hybrid F-150s and Mustangs in the next few years. Things are only…
When the subject of the fleet average target comes up, people seem to miss the giant leaps in automotive drivetrain tech because of these ever increasing standards.

This concept is no less “irresponsible” than the Cadillac Ciel or ElMiraj concepts, or the Buick Avenir concept.
That won’t come to the states without a lift kit and 4" of black plastic cladding along the bottom of everything, because SUV-ify all the cars.
With the new Mazda, and now this, somebody needs to start lobbying the ACO for custom bodywork in LMP2. With the intent being to keep costs under control in LMP2, Include regulations that custom bodies must have a drag coefficient within x% and allowable downforce of y% of the “spec” body. This way the “spec” body is…
I know! I usually try to run the IMSA streams, but they’ll black that out when coverage shifts to FS2/FSGo.
They might have better luck finding an established manufacturer to buy their company, or license their drivetrain tech.
The only place on the track that your running order “counts” is the start/finish line. Because they hadn’t reached the line after the Porsche took the lead, they use the results from their last time by. Totally fair call IMO.
