How old is the person going on the first date? Because if you’re talking 16 year olds, some of these are legit choices that the date isn’t going to mind, or even notice over the hormones, really.

When I was in high school in the late 90's/early 00's I used to take either my parents’ E-Series conversion van or ‘91 Grand Marquis on dates. I feel like both were pretty sweet, although I doubt my girlfriend’s dad was a big fan of the van.

I got flirted with and went on more dates when I was driving my G’Pa’s Golden 1996 Toyota Avalon with purple tint, than I when I had either of my (at the time) current Gen BMW 3's or my several new trucks.

Long ago when I was dating - before meeting my wife in 2006 - I would always take my crappiest vehicle to whatever date I was going on.  If you want me because of my car, I sure as hell don’t want you.

The Block family is becoming a rally racing dynasty now. Ken, his wife Lucy, and this daughter Lia are all competitors in ARA Rally. I saw Ken and Lucy both racing in Maine earlier this summer before Lia started.

Good thing this is one place there’s no chip shortage!
