Haha go home Zuck, you’re posting drunk again.

That’s interesting. Here in the Pacific Northwest the ones I can always count on to drive stupidly are the Jetta drivers. Every damn time I see one, they think they are acting out a Speed movie or Fast and Furious, who knows which. And no, I don’t mean that they are driving fast, I’m talking about sudden unsignaled

No worries, you just reverse through the drive-through.

That’s - much better, actually. Have a star. Still rather have a Focus RS for the likely price (if they could convince me it’s got the correct head gasket installed).

Thing is, you’re only half of the equation. It’s great that you were able to drive reasonably and give yourself plenty of stopping distance. Too bad the doofus going too fast for conditions didn’t, and now you need to perform a sudden evasive maneuver to prevent a collision. Good thing you had that extra traction

Whoever said skip the French has probably never been to Cafe Campagne on Post Alley. Awesome food. There are many great places up Post Alley, you almost can’t go wrong.

I love both Portland and Vancouver BC. But they are both also the same as you are complaining about Seattle being. Same-ish weather (Vancouver is wetter than Seattle, Portland is slightly warmer but just as wet), same stuck-up rich people and hipsters (I think Portland is the birthplace of the hipster style), etc.

How the fuck did we come to this?

Better not be pills, those are too easy to cheek and then spit out later.

True, not to mention Dear Old Dad.

That’s an interesting take that I had not considered. The fact that he, for what ever reason, spared Leia made me think that he does still have at least some little, tiny bit of struggle for his remaining shred of humanity (although he did ruthlessly butcher his own dad.)

Not to mention absolutely thrashed after years and years of harsh desert service. Sand really does a number on vehicles.

Most of the responses that I’ve read so far have been over 25 years old, and so exempt from needing a bond release. They do still need all of their other import paperwork, though. The blog post you link mentions them:

Don’t worry about sounding too self-promotional, we are interested in your stories! This article is specifically posted to ask about them. Do tell. Thanks!

If that’s true, why the self-torture? He always seems agonized about everything in a way that a sociopath would never be.

But that’s what’s completely missing in these movies: How did they fail him? Did Han Solo come home drunk from the cantina and beat up Leia and the kids every night? I don’t get it.

Maybe he’s a sort of reverse MacGuffin: Instead of the heroes seeking him, he’s hunting down the heroes.
