I expect hydrogen to remain a part of trucking into the future. I don’t expect it to remain hydrogen combustion — that’s woefully inefficient. I would expect them to migrate towards something like the Mirai where there is a hydrogen fuel cell onboard that generates electric energy, which is then dumped into a small,

What kind of seats did you have? I just had the basic cloth seats.

Is it possible to flop even before you make a single car for sale?

Stow and Go is great, but the compromises it makes are only good for certain customers.

If it wasn’t for the fact that it demolished any semblance of legroom, it wouldn’t be so bad.
Flipping one of the center captain’s seats down gives you cavernous amounts of legroom, and the rear bench becomes a pretty nice ride, all things considered. However, the passenger really gets screwed -- I’ve never been able

The bench seat in the 2018 Tahoe (not talking about the flip-up penalty seats in the back to make it a “7 seater”.) My family got one as a rental so we could do a road trip to Gettysburg. For context, we wanted a minivan, but we got “upgraded” to the Tahoe.

Now that I’ve seen the rear B-pillar of the Bronco Sport, I’m not really interested in it.

Soon there will be a whole island of them, all in crab mode.

I never hated these, though it’s difficult to find these 4th gen Eclipses with a stick and a functional motor that hasn’t had its belt snapped. Seems there’s a good cross-section between people who don’t do the regular maintenance on these motors and people who buy them up.

It’s called a Subaru Outback these days.

The Soul is a hatchback pretending to be a crossover so it doesn’t get brutally murdered by American car interests.

Hoping we actually get a proper guide to the noses in short order.

If the CH-R had a bit more power and was actually sporty instead of a “this is a soulless capsule” it might have had a warmer welcome for car review publications.

I wish they could jam this in a 4C while keeping a similar price point. Would be interesting to see it duke it out with C8 ‘vettes.

Mitsubishi failed to expand. They’ve only had the Outlander and the Mirage for the longest time, and their market demand has since been satisfied.

Let’s consider what modern cars are required to have now (both via legislation and via customer demands):

- A fully functional stability management suite (necessitates ABS and TCS as a result)
- Massive amounts of sound dampening
- Air conditioning
- A touchscreen radio with sXM, Bluetooth, SD card, and aux jack w/ a 4G/5G

Having sat in a modern Edge and driven it for a little bit: it deserves to go. It’s an uncomfortable place to be and I’m sure there are far better cars in its segment.

Alright, alright, I’ve got a crazy idea.

Now playing

How about one of those Commer trucks with the opposed-cylinder 2-strokes?
