I’m in the market for a used car (can’t help it) and can’t believe the prices on Carvana. If the market is on crack, Carvana is on that blue meth from Breaking Bad. They’re a good 20% higher than private party, 10% higher than used car dealers, and their “registration fees” are loco en el coco.

I just checked for a random date, and it’s only $70 each way! That’s an awesome savings for anyone who has the time! When you factor in ground transit to/from LGA, EWR, or JFK and security theater, the time difference isn’t that huge either.

Agreed. Also, umm...where are they going to park? On the (public) street? If so, then taxpayers are subsidizing the parking. Somebody always pays.

Did they fix the ride height? Had a 2019 with AWFUL ground clearance - I’d even scrape going up a gentle apron into the driveway, regardless of speed.

Who is this for? Seriously - a $100,000 car is absurd considering median family income in this country is a shade under $71,000. Payment on that beast is gonna come in somewhere around $1,400/month IF you put up the near-$10K to cover the taxes and fees. Wild.
