...no, you can’t. $14,260 is MSRP for a base fiesta and that doesn’t include taxes, destination charge, etc. No way there’s a $4K+ rebate on a budget sedan.

Those are still $12-13K cars. No such animal as a $10K out the door car anymore.

Both of those are a $400/month payment on a loan with reasonable terms (not 20% down - HA - and not 72 or 84 months). That’s a crapload of net income. Where is the $9K Chevy Aveo (or, to go back another 20 years, Ford Escort) for working poor or for young families just starting out?

A better calculation for labor cost would be avg monthly FTE hrs/avg. # monthly pies * avg. hourly wage. That accounts for downtime etc. and will make your margin more realistic.  It also matches the methodology of your other calculations more closely.
