She was basically asking the court to give her the relief she sought pending a full resolution of the suit. That is hard to accomplish. Preliminary injunctions are rarely granted, and if they are, they are usually used to preserve the status quo pending a final judgment — not to change it.

Season 5 was very much just a primer for 6 which is going to be huge in every way. It seems like a buffer between “Act I” and “Act II” of the overall story. If I’m not mistaken, season 5 is drawn a lot from Feast of Crows, aka the book everyone hated right?
