They could have made the choice to support the artists who create entertainment that generates revenue for them but hey, keep defending the defended you hero you.

I really hate how they treat Martin like some drug pusher who's too lazy to get the next shipment in instead of…..the artist who created the world and characters millions of people enjoy? If you love Tyrion, Jon Snow, Dani, Cersei, Arya….then you love George R R Martin because all those people came from his head.…
The books also had two magical horns that destroy the wall and control dragons. Just because those things aren't on the show doesn't mean they aren't important.
Well Ladyheart did threaten to hang Pod if Brienne didn't kill Jaime. And then she randomly shows up in Jaimes camp telling him to follow her and come alone otherwise the Hound will kill Sansa, something we know for a fact isn't true. So the pieces are there. My question is will Jaime kill Brienne or will Brienne kill…
Again you really think undead Lady Stark won't interact with ANY other Starks? That's like assuming Dani won't intetact with anyone else so her subplot is pointless
Hollywood isn't a normal working environment. If it was the company that rewards success with budget and pay cuts would collapse. I'm on the side of the artist not the suit desperate for content but unwilling to pay people what they earned
There's nothing perceived about "thanks for making us a lot of money. Your reward is less money to make the show."
Because it's far more unprofessional to reward success with budget cuts so you can give yourself more money than it is to be justifiably angry about that?
You try being a show runner on a successful tv show who's budget is cut because some suit wanted the money you earned.
Yeah it's Frank not AMC who insisted on budget and pay cuts to their massive hit show.
You got the sense from the comic that they really grew to like the taste. Fresh meat off the grill will always be more appealing than a can.
They told him to film indoors and asked if zombies HAVE to be in every episode. The blame for the second season rests on AMC.
He is wrong. They ARE lazy assholes. "Well boys looks like we're GOING TO WAR. See you next season suckers!"
I'd say rewarding success and popularity with budget and pay cuts is far more unprofessional but hey he's only the guy who makes the art while they front the money so clearly he's less valuable then the executives who want less zombies on the zombie show to save money
He "got" it by turning down millions so he could direct it. Money that could have gone into his bank account instead went into the film's budget. Imagine writing your first script and being told you could have MILLIONS but someone else directs it. I'd like to think I'd have the strength of character to turn that money…

Word is being all the way in New Mexico and keeping the budget super low meant no suit was motivated enough to mess with it. According to Gilligan if you don't want network messing with you stay in a place they never want to visit
Who gives a shit if a director swears in an email? All that matters is "is the shit they're filming making us millions?" Rewarding success and popularity with budget and pay cuts is much more unprofessional than being justifiably angry about that
Most of the cast and crew were people who worked with and liked Frank so much They agreed to work for much less than they usually do. Dale died because the actor didn't want to be there anymore without Frank. So i don't buy this "hard to work with" BS because why would people be willing to work for less in the…
"Thinks" he deserves? The show wouldn't exist without him. He has every right to be angry at a network that rewards success with budget cuts so some asshole can squeeze a few extra million into his paycheck while cast and crew of a hit tv show are getting a pay cut
