Like, take a breeding pair of molebert to another planet and watch the invasive species take over? That'd be rad.
Mine craft is still pretty great, and I’ve bought and enjoyed a few clones of it, too. Just the idea of a massive, persistent Minecraft world shared by all players who can claim and name bits of the landscape would invite my interest. Add procedural creatures and I’m sold.
Kinda how I feel about the actual universe, you know? Giant procedural sandbox but I’ll never really see that much of it, and all the really good stuff you have to pay for anyways. What's the point?
I love that he explained procedural generation as “it’s made of math”.
Silicon Simians for 300$: “The title ape of this game, which launched a best selling franchise, shares his name with the King of the apes.”
Yes, I get that that would be the appropriate response in your proposed scenario - but that is unlike the Zelda prompt in a few ways, notably that your prompt references a set (both brothers) rather than an individual (princess). It makes the singular response clearly nonsensical - useful for making your point, but…
Right, so, clearly a totally different prompt. Analogy doesn’t hold.
I think porksoda’s point was, what’s in it for pewdiepie?
I adore Lovecraft and recently devoured everything he ever wrote. I also love video games. Some games have appropriated his subject matter to great effect, but a game can never capture the themes of Lovecraft’s work. Because realizing your utter futility and meaninglessness in the cruel and infinite cosmos is like,…
You’ve changed the prompt to make the response less sensical. The analogous prompt would be: “The plumber of this game, which launched a best-selling franchise, was named after the video game company’s landlord.”
Letters sent to reporters are fair game. Also, loving Jeopary so much it hurts is not a mental illness - it’s not a good look, but it’s a valid way of life [for us to make fun of]
Taylor is a girl! Girls can be astronauts too!
I came here just to say this. Taylor is a girl!
Uh, my Taylor didn't succumb to the aliens and escaped the planet? So, uh... think you might have just lost the game?

What a ‘console’ is is getting a lot closer to what the Apple TV is — a media box. Last gen Apple TV couldn’t play games. This gen it has a built in motion controller.
