Collinsworth spent the entire first half inducting Trubisky and Nagy into the Hall of Fame so settle down.

Gatekeeping the feeling of losing is peak Vikings fan

Packers-Bears isn’t really a rivalry. Packers-Vikings yes. The Bears have been losing to Favre and Rodgers for 25 years.

Ooooh, that’s nice.  I read it like a louder, and somehow drunker, Bernie Kosar.

I am a 35 year old Packers fan. Fandom began mostly because Reggie White could run right around every offensive lineman in Madden ‘94. I think I had a 80 sack season... Reggie White fuckin ruled.

The Majik Man was awesome. 1989 is still my favorite season as a Packers fan.

My favorite part is when Rozelle intentionally paused after “Fullback” to let that idiocy sink in with the crowd and you hear “OH NOOO!” in the background. Gets me every time.

Now playing

Whenever you feel lousy about something your team did, just watch this:

It’s just like my dad always says: [three minute voicemail of car noises and talk radio muffled by his pocket]

So the perfect second baseman dogged a play allowing a run following an imperfect throw from the pitcher to the great Anthony Rizzo (who, by the way, was credited with the error, not Hendricks) and subsequently committed another error (how can that be, he’s the perfect first baseman) playing on the perfect Cub team

And now the shining beacon on the prairie, Illinois. The land of Lincoln. The industrial powerhouse of the world. The corn and soybean capital of the universe. The state that has sent more governors to the big house. Nuke is holding strong and wind is kicking ass. Solar is just starting to get going since the nuke

have you heard about the ‘85 Bears?

How long before the “california glory boy” hawt taeks start? A week? Monday?

“From my point of view the Lakers are evil!”

  • Anthony Rizzo, for watching all of this unfold from home plate. It’s good and sound rundown practice for him to protect the run after Willson Contreras abandoned his post—the outcome would have been far worse if he’d abandoned the post and Yelich had scored. But after a certain point in the rundown he could’ve seen

If only a song was being played in the background. Like a song with a saxophone showing people running around aimlessly

Celebrity deaths never really phase me at all, but Bourdain is something else. His voice was one that said what I needed to hear. I’ll miss his interesting, entertaining and important work.

This guy... THIS guy... was the most interesting man in the world.

It ain’t no County Stadium.

Make sure you take an Uber tonight Jason.
