You ever spend two weeks without power, heat, or food? Ever have to walk outside, climb over fallen trees and down power lines, and wait for food from a good Samaritan cooking burgers for the neighborhood? Did you have to bale the water out of your fucking house, or remove a tree that had crashed through your roof?

My lawn furniture? My house filled up with water. I have friends who lost everything. I sympathize with you and whoever/whatever you lost, friend. Doesn't mean people here didn't lose things and people too. This is exactly the kind of bullshit that doesn't fly in a tragedy, man. The whole "oh, my storm was

I couldn't stay in a motel cause money was pretty tight. And we don't have any family around. Closest family is in Pennsylvania and I'm in Staten Island. So we were kind of in a corner. There's also our jobs and such.

That's not the term at all. Just because there are strong storms in the south does not mean Sandy was a weak storm. I had to live through the destruction here, so please don't call it a non storm.

Believe me, it came close to that. Seriously, towards the end, I started to fray at the edges, so to speak. But I'm a writer, and November is National Novel Writing Month, so I wrote like crazy. It gave me something to channel all the boredom, silence, and darkness into. Not to mention the cold (I had no heat either)

My power was out for 14 days. I didn't get it as bad as others either (flooded basement mostly). Taught me not to take anything for granted anymore.

Thanks for keeping Kotaku up, and giving us something to entertain ourselves with during a miserable time.

Not a big story behind mine. I sorta grew up with Gundam Wing, and I remain a fan to this day. As for the 351 at the end, it used to be the first three digits of my phone number back when everyone just had landlines. It's my name for Kotaku, 360, PS3, etc etc.

I'm not really seeing a difference between this dialogue and that of Michal Bay's movies.

Wasn't the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate sale a couple weeks ago? Doesn't seem to be on sale now in any case.

Yikes. Right in the childhood.

Phil Fish: "I fucking hate this industry."

Glad to see, that whenever the gaming industry takes two steps forward, some asshole tries to bring it three steps back.

I found it funny. Full disclosure: I read every comment as sarcastic. Probably cause I'm such a happy dude.

Posted on the other one too, but again, it's WingZero351. Best of luck!

Same as my Kotaku tag: Wingzero351. Good luck!

I didn't play it until years after the fact, but yeah, it's awesome.

Rest in peace, sir.

Haha, that'd be great!

On the other hand, you shouldn't cast Balefire too much or you risk destroying the Pattern :-)
