I prefer my driving *unfiltered*

Correct headline: idling in traffic with your windows down in developing countries with minimal pollution controls increases your exposure to pollution (which may or may not be a meaningful increase that has health outcomes because we didn’t test that).

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Nonsense.  $4K probably is NP, but that’s not how the game works.  Any moron can spend 20 minutes washing and vacuuming before they take pictures of their old toy.  Hell, I dusted a FREE ceiling fan I put on craigslist last weekend just so I didn’t disgust the takers.  Come on bro.

Seriously, a $10 trip through a wash would have made this so much easier to sell. People are mysteries, truly.

CP: If they won’t spring for a valet, then what else has been skimped on. This is a box of problems waiting to happen.

That’s unbelievable.  You must have bought the haunted one off the lot.  My ‘96 LS400 is still bulletproof today.

She should have been making her side income like all the other mechanics: by using the company facilities to do side jobs.

Do I think this is fair? No.
Do I think this is right? No.

I agree. I think it’s always dumb, but the dumbness is slightly less now. The chances of a run killing someone in a direct way due to higher traffic seems much higher than the chance the somehow they divert resources that could have helped a coronavirus patient and so someone else dies that way.

Sorry, not buying it. This was likely the safest time this could have been done. As you said, hardly anyone is on the road. I’m not buying the Alex Roy argument either, “They could have hit a truck carrying precious medical supplies”. Well, yeah but I’ll bet that’s statistically pretty low. I think most of the

“If literally one thing goes wrong—if the team needs to call for help or a tow truck, if they get stopped, if they crash—literally anything goes wrong here and these guys would be pulling resources from an otherwise already overloaded system, not to mention potentially increasing the risk of contracting coronavirus by

I was out walking today and looking at all the people wearing masks and thinking to myself someone is going to get shot in a convenience store.

NFS:MW nailed the cop chases. They were intense, but the cops weren’t invincible, nor could they keep up with your car until you started hitting higher bounty levels and they brought out the Corvettes. They balanced out the speed of the Corvette cop cars by making them more fragile, IIRC.

I literally wore out my copy of Most Wanted. This is what happens when you have a 3 hour police “chase” when your parked on top of the bus station and all of the cop cars are piling up below you like a feeding frenzy in a koi pond.

That game is what sparked my love for the E46 M3, and from that, cars in general. For some reason, I was never really impressed with the JDM scene, and never had been into the wild exotics growing up. But that car just changed everything.

Bim!  Guess what!?

Bim losing it for like 5 minutes was the best part.

This whole circling for hours to burn fuel is BS. Just dump the fuel and land. Don’t make the poor passengers stress meaninglessly.

Exactly this. I disagree with Sarkessian on a lot of things, but I would never in a million years think that the answer to it is to visit violence upon her or to take away her ability to make those videos. That’s so incredibly fucked up.
