Very true, but I’m more focused on getting a story going (or continued). I usually write too slow to finish Nanawrimo, but every word means I’m that much closer to a finished piece.

Oh, and a voice recorder for when I’m driving or whatever. I don’t transcribe the bits where I bitch at crappy drivers.

I write long hand 95% of the time. For some reason I can’t write directly to the computer unless things are really flowing.

OKcupid doesn’t limit you to just man or woman. If you’re non-binary / genderqueer or agender there are a bunch of options to pick. It’s only on the desktop site and it’s a bit hacked on, but at least the option is there.
