I’m sure there are tiles like that lots of places, but I think they’re going for the Amalfi Coast look. I was at there last year and there were tiles like that everywhere, as well as lots of ceramic tile-based souvenirs for sale. I’m pretty sure I almost bought an apron with a very similar pattern at the airport lol.

They do that all the time now and it drives me crazy. They are swinging way too far in the other direction trying to avoid using the word female. It’s only wrong to say “female” if you’re using that as a noun! Using female as an adjective is normal! Noun = woman, adjective = female.

I think taking into account what your spouse likes is good, as long as you also take into account what you like. You just have to weigh how much you want it with how much you care if your spouse doesn’t like it.

I know this is an old piece but I still wanted to comment how great it is!  I don’t have kids but I never really thought before how so many of us are taught to make empty apologies early in life.

Yes, I love cereal and eat it a lot. Not, like, daily... but more than once a month. IMO one of the best parts of being an adult is that I can eat Lucky Charms or Reese’s puffs for dinner if I want to.
