It says “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off,” which is exactly what he does for most of the show 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, people seem confused on this point a lot.

Wow. I get that hearing someone talk about their body all the time can be really exhausting, but to tell someone who clearly hates their body an unhealthy amount that the concept of trying to love it is “not for her” is really really shitty. You are just as wrong as Hazel. And just as unnecessarily mean.

Yeah, I’ve been off Jez for a while because I got a new job and am trying to be more productive.  This article is making me think I should consider staying off.  She seems like a really awesome woman and the writer of this article seems very unreasonably bitter.

I am 98% excited, but because I agree he was the best thing about Luke Cage... 2% of me is sad that casting him as a different role pushes the shows even further away from the MCU.  I’ll get over it though lol.

whaaaaaaat??

Of course they are, but then why not assign someone who isn’t so bored to write about the big Marvel announcement since it’s something lots and lots of other people would be very excited to read about.

I think you might be conflating two Riverdale alum movies. Yara Shahidi was in a movie about love at first sight called The Sun is Also a Star with the guy who plays Reggie. Cole Sprouse who plays Jughead was in the fault-in-our-stars-like movie Five Feet Apart.

Maybe I accidentally turned it off too early lol

Huh.  I appear to be suffering some sort of Berenstein effect here.  I haven’t watched this movie in many years, but I definitely had it classified in my head as a movie where the leads *don’t* end up together...

Ouch, no mention at all of the late Glenn Quinn?

I think Angel was better at individual episodes/monster-of-the-week, but Buffy was better at season-arcs.

Yeah, that “closets are dark” bit was the stretchiest stretch that has ever been stretched.

The main thing I wish I had known about “chill” weddings is that if you have any sort of formal reception at all (“formal” meaning like... an organized event that you have specifically invited people to attend, not like everyone’s wearing tuxedos) then no matter how much you don’t care about all the little details—you

I am always similarly baffled when sequels and remakes are scoffed at as “cash grabs.” I think most big movies are made pretty much entirely for the purpose of making money!

I thought it was Anna Kendrick for a second too.

I actually don’t think he’s trying to say all homophobes are secretly gay, I think he’s saying they have been raised to believe that having feelings is “gay” and are generally emotionally repressed. I think he worded it poorly but I think the sentiment was supposed to be about toxic masculinity.

Yeah, they successfully tricked me into thinking he said something terrible but instead it’s a bunch of tweets I pretty much fully agree with.

Yes, I really don’t think he is at all saying that homophobic people are secretly gay. I can see how people misunderstood his tweet because it could definitely be clearer, but your take on it is exactly how I read it as well.

Also, one thing that is obviously not problematic but still a little confusing to me—I’m a fan of that actor and a lot of things he’s in but... is he considered particularly attractive? There are some times in Raising Hope that I find him kind of attractive but on the Mindy Project they kept talking about him as like T
