The one I do is kind of that but just twice a week. It works for me but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for everyone!

Yes, if they asked him for the expiration date when he booked the flight then it seems like it would be super easy to set up their system to check 1) destination country 2) flight date 3) passport expiration date and then pop up a message if you’re likely to have a problem.
