But yellow is the default and thus reads as white and isn’t it kind of privileged for white people to use it when only white people have this option of being represented by a “universal” tone?

Am I the only monster who actually wants Gretchen to end up with Boone? I don’t usually root against the central pairing, but I think her relationship with Jimmy has run its course.
Squoze! That’s hilarious
Matt Taibbi and Mark Ames. Do not buy their “satire” bs.
Thank you for posting this. I’m shocked by how many people are defending him and defending the book as “satire.” It’s absurd.

I don’t think anyone’s doubting her “pregnancies,” just the first one. And she’s still a mom even if there’s a surrogate, so I doubt people are threatened by that. You might be overthinking it, she’s the biggest celebrity in America with an unusually opaque life, so people jump on whatever crumbs of gossip exist.
Fences is inspirational? That’s not how I remember the play, I thought it was pretty bleak.
I really thought the love of Barb was more just that people found it funny that she was this drab awkward character who then dies. Not that she was so great, but her situation was funny, and lent itself to jokes about how great she was. I doubt that many people actually LOVED Barb unironically
