He actually can't say that right now. The church is still choked with a conservative element that will pillory him if he goes too far to the left. In terms of being a catholic, what he is saying is revolutionary and the rest will have to follow. The most important thing he talked about is avoiding ideological

Well, it's about time. Not that this excuses her, but from how I see it, she's the daughter of a generation of New York City artists who made careers for themselves by being very much unfiltered (and often in a manner that was very candid about the human body and sexuality). It seems like she's trying to take that art

That story highlights another problem I tend to have with schooling in this country: Prioritization of sports above everything else. I mean, it's fine and indeed a very good thing schools provide athletics programs, but when they start acting like a stupid game should be more important than a student's personal life

The article is about VACATION, not about death, religious event, etc.

Current HS teacher here - I teach in a major International School, so this happens fairly often. I agree that as long as the kids/parents accept responsibility for the missed learning, it is fine. By "parents", I mean that if the kid does miss a lot, or can't keep up after getting back, the parents suck it up

What about midterms and finals?

Five words: No Child Left Behind Act. Schools changed significantly after it was adopted, and have gotten even worse as it continues to tie funding to performance. I remember my World Studies teacher literally flipping his desk when it was signed into law, saying: "You better pay attention, because you're the last

"How can entire families be expected to mold their entire life around schools."

Years ago, my colorist told me that she sometimes makes up some extra color for the client to apply in the privacy of her own home. She called it a "snatch batch".

On the several occasions that I've paid with the company card, I always make a point to tip more than usual. It's not my money, so I don't lose much sleep.

Okay, I am not defending her actions AT ALL, but having worked at animal shelters, I can tell you that the amount of people who dump their unwanted pets on the side of the road, at intersections, etc. is huge. I'd rather this lady do what she did (safely restrained with his stuff where someone could find him) rather

I am 100% certain that it is exactly that easy to find work as a voice actor.

I'm too shy to talk to hoomans

"How's Meg?" "...who cares?" was probably the single best moment of this whole thing. This guy is fantastic. He should really do voice work.

Here's my question - why did nobody go back and edit this after the fact? They could have simply altered it to appear that Pullam was fired for leading the losing team - which happens a lot. Why leave this in now that its clear that Pullam might have had VERY good reasons for not calling Cosby?

Even just generally, those are sad presents. Clothes for Christmas and nothing that's just for fun? :(

Tim Tripp, pastor of the Northeast Church of Christ in Cincinnati, told NBC News that the funeral was moved because "the times and dates had been publicized, and the family's received threats."

By "actually costs" you are buying into the phony US system. What is the "cost" of using an otherwise idle MRI, or speaking with an otherwise idle doctor? Basically zero. The US only charges people such incredible prices for things like this because our system is designed to do so; our system is designed to let
