My gig allows me to work from home. It's great— I get a lot more done, and we use social networking and a bazillion conference calls to communicate. I'm in the office about once a month (my office is not in the city I live in). At my old job, after I left, they took away all work from home— leaving a bunch of bitter

me too!

"Rob Zombie, pick your socks up!"

it's sort of like it's been treated to the Photoshop version of when you put a phrase into Google Translate, then translate it into another language, and another, then back into English to see what comes out.

Yep, that's what I do when I am going in for something that I know I need. I feel like a ninja. Oh, and I only go on, like, Tuesday.

Like I said to another commenter— I definitely realized they were a "thing" in cosplay/fetish circles. Didn't realize they'd gone mainstream.

I kind of have big eyes already. I think I'd probably give folks heart attacks. Eep.

I dunno, we put shit on our lashes that make lashes grow out of our cheekbones and take pills that can help erections but also make your penis fall off, so really, if you said, "Hey, this might kill you, but WHOA YOU WILL BE SEXY!" I bet it'd be a best-seller.

Yeah, I can too, but those look WAY larger than some tightlining and contouring can do.

I knew they existed but I assumed people just used them for costumes/cosplay/kink/whatever, not for, you know, job interviews.

Are they also wearing contacts to make their irises larger? I am slightly disturbed.

You also hate unicorns and rainbows, don't you?

does this make it any less cute? No? Thought not.

"I'm confused, are we making fun of Miss America or are we making fun of Brooklyn residents?"

Yes. I flew business on KLM and the best part was not the food or the cushy seat, but the really really nice skincare stuff in the bathroom so I could wash my face after 10 hours on that flight (and two on a prior flight, and a two hour delay in Amsterdam). Best feeling ever.

Wasn't that a line from "In Da Club" by the illustrious 50 Cent first?

no need for quotes with "practical nurse" — it's a legit thing that still exists. It's a nurse with a vocational degree (not a "registered" nurse, who has more training). Today, they commonly staff nursing homes under the supervision of a registered nurse. Sometimes they do home health or work at doctors' offices,

I have that to look forward to when I get home on January 7. :/

Instagram: winemedineme. Warning: there are some cat pictures. ;)

I essentially live instagrammed an incredibly beautiful dinner I had tonight in Prague. People ate it up. If I posted pics of, say, a new purse or my car, no one would care.
