You just made me realize that an older couple would be almost as groundbreaking. OMG, old people have sex? Yeah, and probably use lube, too.

love the Neutrogena— really, really good stuff and often has free goodies (like their very nice face wash) attached. I've used expensive stuff and this is much better.
My insurance— I was under two different policies— covered it in full except for a $25 copay. The second time I had to call up my doctor and have them resubmit as they had coded it incorrectly (which caused a minor meltdown as I wasn't prepared to pay $700!) but it got fixed.
I completely support your choice, and really hope that you can find a doc to do it. Might be my area, but at almost 31, I'm still told that by docs they won't do it.
agreed. The first one hurt because I'd never had my cervix breached— no abortions or births. The second one hurt briefly, but nothing ibuprofen (and a glass of wine after) didn't take care of.
I was told by a doctor, when asked, "Well, what if you get sterilized and you decide you want kids?" and replying, "I'll adopt," point-blank: "They're not the same if they're not your own." This after I told the douche that I was adopted, as was my mother.
I got an IUD because I wasn't able to get a tubal. I got my first one at 25, actually. At first i was a bit bitter that I had someone basically tell me I couldn't decide my own procreation choices, but now that I have the IUD— which hurt, but only briefly— I'm very happy with it. I have no period! Little cramping!…
I was like you and pish-poshed the iPad (I'm in tech too). Then I played with one. I still use my Kindle— I LOVE eInk for reading— but I use my iPad for a ton of other things. And even though I travel 2-3 weeks out of the month, I stick with wifi instead of a data plan. Cheaper!
That sounds like something my husband would ask, mostly to push my buttons.
Daily? Kindle and iPhone. When I'm traveling (which is 2-3x a month), I up it to laptop, Kindle, iPad, and iPhone.
I loved that album. I think I'm going to have to go into my storage unit and pull out some CDs today.
I think I still have a couple of Unplugged CDs. I am dorky, so my favorite is Tony Bennett. But I have major happy memories of Mariah Carey and Eric Clapton and Nirvana. Man.
if I don't plan on having kids, do I have to do the childcare?
whenever I want to watch the Today Show in the morning, my husband asks me if I recall that The Today Show kills brain cells. It is, however, better than Mike and Mike.
dude. no kidding. not to mention the number of women on Facebook whose profile pics are their kids. Listen, I don't know who you are, person from 15 years ago, if your face appears NOWHERE on your profile.
thank you!
hiding in the jezebel comment section, I guess! And thanks. :)
Word. And west side Cincy vs. east side Cincy. Lots of different accents. It's what makes language fun!
thanks! white is great if that's what you want, but if you don't— I say rock on whatever color you like. Plus, color is cheaper. And I really honestly could wear it again!
thank you.
