I imagine Joe’s thought process on all this. “God damn Bernie! Get on with it already! Fine I’ll do it.”

Me too. Hubba Hubba!

Especially when it comes to Medicare for All and free college—those were such a well-known parts of his plan that they’re basically synonymous with his name now. The voters had a chance to vote him in if they liked those policies . . . and they didn’t. It would be hugely shitty to the majority of Dems who did vote for

Ugh, I used to love Sanders, but I think he’s being such a shit little white man and saying that Hillary basically has to adopt all of HIS policy platforms before he’ll endorse her. Ummm, bro, Hillary is way more qualified than you are to be President and just because she’s a woman doesn’t mean she can’t have her own

I'm gonna miss him soooooo much.

True, but Clinton understands her enemies in a way that Obama never did. This is why most people don’t see the change he brought or the jobs that were created or the millions that got healthcare. Obamacare is wildly unpopular because Obama never knew how to sell it so the GOP sold it. The GOP is all about the message

Unfortunately, I think Bernie would get the Obama treatment, which...didn’t go so well.

My favorite potential scenario: the DNC refuses to certify any of these new debates and sticks to its guns that anyone who participates in an unsanctioned debate can’t participate in the sanctioned ones. And then Sanders and Clinton both get disqualified and it’s just Martin O’Malley talking to himself at the next

What would be nice is if everyone stopped hate-watching the Repugnant debates and started watching these instead.

The other problem with Bernie (and the bigger one, IMO) is that his ideas are great, but he doesn’t have fully baked plans to implement them.

This a million times. It comes down to a politician who can get rid of gerrymandering and Citizens United, while making it easier to vote. But more so, it’s up to us. We bear the burden. Obama did as much as he possibly could, but we flaked like we always do.

I got eaten alive for suggesting this on Facebook, but I think Bernie is asking for FAR too big of a paradigm shift to be practical. Would this reform be great? Sure. But good luck getting it to happen, buddy.

I think Republican VOTERS hate Hillary. From everything I’ve heard, she’s actually quite well liked and respected among members of congress themselves. I remember a Republican congressperson being quoted recently (I can’t remember whether it was anonymous or not) saying “I spend all my time in DC trying to convince my

I got 98% Bernie, 96% Clinton. Which is what I’ve been saying all along - I have a slight preference for Bernie’s policies, but not enough to make me vote for him over Clinton

I will vote for whichever Democrat wins the primary. Currently, I think that will be Hillary. If it’s Sanders, I’ll still vote for him. I don’t live in a state like Iowa or New Hampshire where I have to make that choice.

The greatest trick the Bernie ever pulled was convincing the world that a career politician who has been in congress since before Hillary was first lady is somehow “not part of the system.”

I got a 99% for Bernie and a 96% for Hillary, which is a good indication of how little daylight there is between them. I’m still pretty much undecided, though it’s academic as it will probably be decided by the time our primary comes around, and of course I’ll vote for whichever of them is still standing.

There’s a reason I’ve kept this meme on my phone when I usually delete after posting. Comes in handy lately.

Obama is a statesman. I still think he was a good president. Without all the obstruction, I think he could have been a GREAT president. He didn’t want to get dirty, though. I don’t mean mudslinging or anything. I mean he didn’t want to go to Congress and play hardball. He had Biden doing a lot of that for him, to an

There is literally nothing less likely to pass Congress than single payer universal healthcare. Or did you miss the bloodbath leading up to the Affordable Care Act and the ongoing attempts to dismantle it?
