Actually, Chris Hemsworth’s 10 minutes of Star Trek was the best 10 minutes of anything JJ Abrams ever created for Star Trek (and maybe anything, ever).
McCoy has been wonderful, however his scenes are so few and far between, which has been unfortunate.

Remember we’re seeing her before the comics, this is her reformation. You have to see the growth and by starting before the comics they’re putting the pins in place for the arc of their growth. I think we’re going to continue to see her evolve through season 2 and onward towards the character we know from the comics.…
