Alex
I also liked Alex. He seemed genuine, and had a voice that didn't sound like every single other voice which is nice.

How I Met Your Mother
One of my favorite things about this show is how much it values friendship. So many shows seem to be built around the thesis that love is better than friendship, and that we should always be on the watch for who'll be hooking up next. But HIMYM knows that love is great, but friends rule too. I…
I loved that line so much.
The show really isn't "about" finding the mother. I mean, it is in theory, but that's really just a frame to but a show about friends in New York.
Langhorne Slim
You weren't kidding when you said he had a high voice. It's as high as Olivia Merilahti's.
Kate Winslet
I'm just going to go ahead and say that I loved the hell outta that speech. I don't know quite why, but I thought it was great.
Slumdog Millionaire
Seriously, that's the scene you're going to show for the preview?
Thompson and Hoffman
Were WASTED!
Suck it Cate Blanchett!
I loved when he said "I don't know why you would" after his stupid scripted line.
Tom Green
Tom Green has a world-wide internet talk show?
Completely Agree
Gervais is about the best thing ever.
At Least
The Golden Globes aren't the Emmys.
Very Nice
It will take some getting used to, but I really like the way it looks, and the convenience factors that have been added. Also, I like the profile pictures.
Crazy
I watched Crazy eyes Carla say "pizzaz" and fling her arms about 500 times.
Also, I've already gone through "The Office" season 2 twice since I got it on Christmas. "Casino Night" is my favorite episode of the show, if for nothing else than the best (honest and non-cheesy) confession of love I've seen on TV. That scene is so brutal and perfect. Krasinski's little tear, and everything. Great.
Blu-Ray
My parents got me a Blu-Ray player, which is amazing. I got "The Dark Knight" (awesome), and then with gift cards bought "Burn After Reading", "Wall-E" and "A Clockwork Orange". "Wall-E" was my favorite; it looked so freakin' good in HD.
Great
Just a fantastic episode. Dinklage is the man.
"Worst Week"
is a pretty solid show. Not great, sometimes it goes way too heavy on big gags, but that lead guy is great.
Angry
The fact that "The Curious Case of Benjamin Suckage" got nominated over "The Wrestler" makes me want to vomit. "Case" was awful (especially the script. How the hell did it get a WGA nomination?), and it all felt so generic. If Fincher's first win is for this…
