Great
The first week, and already you've got an interview for the eventual Best of 2009. His answers informative and lengthy, but never boring. Very enjoyable.

A Lot
There is a lot of stuff, including:

Seth Meyers
At least he's not Jimmy Fallon.

Interview
I really enjoyed reading this interview, though it was more for the interviewer than The Killers. I don't know quite why, but I really liked the conversational tone of the interview. It was very unique. Especially when they talk about "Fire In the Sky".

Blu-Ray
I got a Blu-Ray player, and "The Dark Knight" on Blu-Ray. I also got The Office S2 and 30 ROCK s1. I was happy.

Mad Men
I'm getting serious "Mad Men" vibes, mostly because it's supposedly based on the same book. I feel like I'd be too distracted by the "Mad Men"-ness to enjoy it, though Kate Winslet does rule.

Burn After Reading
I completely agree. One of my favorites of the year.

Milk
Was great. Also, did "Frost/Nixon" open yet. Because all the reviews came out, but I can't even find it at the arthouse theaters around me. Anyone know when it's expanding?

Sad
That last scene was heartbreaking. Andy's so naive, and Angela was about to cry. It was awful (in an extremely well-done way).

Here's My (Wishful) Thinking
Maybe he's just doing a movie that won't flop so he can get some money and then do a third great movie (after "Truman" and "Sunshine"). Maybe.

Good Lord, Do I Have a List
Let me start off by saying I do like "good"things too, like "The Wrestler" and Modest Mouse. However, here is my sad, sad list.

I'm still looking forward to it as well, I was just disappointed that it wasn't on *any* of the lists, opposed to at least being on one.

Curious Case
I'm disappointed this wasn't loved. I was really looking forward to it.

Snow Patrol
The guy has great taste.

So
I hate the TV nominees, but love some of the movie ones (besides "Momma Mia"). I think "Slumdog" was amazing, and am really looking forward to "Ben Button". Also, I loved "Burn After Reading" (unlike most people) and "In Bruges". I also loved McDormand in "Reading". I am also really happy Brandon Gleeson got

Phipps
Glad to see some love for Kanye. Great album.

I'd give it an A-, I thought it was a fantastic episode. And I loved that they used "Muder Train"!

Also, The Gaslight Anthem makes me feel young (which I am). But it's such a great album to sing along to and feel like a teenager. Good God I love it.

Drive-By Truckers
That line "Maybe every day is Saturday morning" kills me every time I hear it. What a great song.

2 Films
I was already looking forward to "Brief Interviews", but had not heard of "Big Fans". It's got an awesome plot, awesome writer-director, and Patton Oswalt in a leading dramatic role (I call extremely early Oscar nomination). Fuckin' A.
