@Trez: Well the PS2 didn't start out that way. But I'd say that the PS2 is probably still the PS2 of this generation. It's cheap, has lots of games (that don't suck like the Wii) and is suitable for casual fans. And as recent as last year I think it was the #1 or 2 top selling home gaming system.
