Kudos to Tesla for achieving straight line performance numbers that seemed out of reach for production cars just a few years ago. Quite impressive even though their cars are missing all of the magic and style that gives most performance cars their appeal.

30k seems reasonable with two incomes and relatively low cost of living i’m assuming. plus, it’s actually pretty hard to buy a new car for less than 30k these days.

I think that Arnage that popped up the other day for $21k would be perfect!

They overlap here in VA but don’t think anyone cares.

For car fuel it’s Costco. Best prices on 93 and lines move fast.

I’m happy to go without heated seats, HUD and radar cruise control or similar options.

No but the lucky numbers and fortune you find with it are all yours.

oh didn’t realize that was on the app too. used to watch that show every weekend. i think it played just before or after mecum auto auctions but don’t actually recall what channel.

i remember when autonomous driving was talked about in the 90s it was about magnetic highways systems and the focus was on safety over convenience or marketing. Believe that was brought up again a few years ago.

I’m not sure a non-celebrity crash would lead to press conferences and public statements. I’m sure many aspects of this situation would have been handled differently.

M5 or X5 M

Shouldn’t the interior be less minimalistic and more customizable to suit the owner’s interests since they’ll be focused more on comfort than on driving?

I have yet to see a GV80 in the wild. To be fair I only leave the house about twice a week but still thought I would see a few. We bought a new car in that class recently and I didn’t give serious consideration to looking at the GV80. It’s excellent on paper but it’s just a little to pretty for me. A bit overly
