I once rented a Mazda2 and every time I left the house to jump in it I thought someone stole half my car. I was worried to take it back to Hertz thinking I may have lost a few feet of its body.

The Accord Crosstour. Why do that to the Accord name, Honda?
Cars I have purchased or leased. I have owned or shared others. $160k
CX-9 seems like a good choice but if they want to push toward the top end of their budget could shoot for the X5 xDrive45e. Just under $60k for the base model after the the tax credit.
i remember when autonomous driving was talked about in the 90s it was about magnetic highways systems and the focus was on safety over convenience or marketing. Believe that was brought up again a few years ago.

it definitely does look more modern today compared to its contemporaries but it still is a bit of a hog. i wonder if they hadn’t bangled their way through the early 2000s if they would have ended up in the same place in terms of current designs - which i like quite a bit aside from the even numbered SAVs.
