This is wrong, or at least I’m pretty sure it’ll be proven wrong in the finale. They believe they can’t choose, because they both had personal motivations from the beginning to prove their work correct. Forest has been driven by absolving himself for his daughter’s death, and Katie has been driven by it being her

Think about cultists or the Manson family. Devs is her personal Manson, and if Devs told her she does a thing, she does it. Maybe she tells herself that she had no choice, but she’s still a monster, same as Forest.

Well, here’s my predictions for Thursday which could end up being completely wrong. So... Garland has talked a lot about how Silicon Valley figures perceive themselves as gods, how they basically live in a bubble. He’s directly critiqued their single mindedness within the show, and critiqued how unjust their power is

Claflin and Munn have zero chemistry together, this was a bad mismatch even for rom-com standards.

Yevgeny/The Russians were probably responsible for the heli going down. The flight recorder implicates them, so he takes it and fucks over Carrie. That’s how I see it going down.

Seems inevitable that this season ends on a massive downer. Yevgeny is going to fuck Carrie over and the Trump white house mimicry will clearly end with this POTUS becoming more Trump-like. Best case scenario is Saul is fired and Carrie goes to prison, worst case is they both die. Can’t say I’m enjoying how dark this

This is obviously setting up her showing up in the Rick movies, whenever those come out.

Brilliant end to a brilliant series. Lenny’s arc from TYP finally feels complete. One of Jude Law’s best roles of all time, Silvio Orlando and Malkovich also did really amazing work here and all 3 deserve nominations. It’s also just a staggeringly well shot show, as TYP was. TYP was the best show of 2016 and this

I have to agree about Silvio Orlando. He’s tremendous and with each episode feels more like the beating heart of the season, while Brannox and Sofia complete the trifecta (I hope we get lots of Lenny in the last 3, though). I still don’t really know what the core theme of this season will end up being, but I’ve been

Agreed. Great line, great episode.

This was a laughably bad series, the third episode entirely undoes any good work the first two did. Agatha is a useless protagonist who accomplishes absolutely nothing. Claes Bang gives an entertaining performance, beyond that I’m struggling to get what critics are seeing in this.

Putting Joker on a worst of list is exactly the kind of dumbass shit I expect from AVClub.

So we’re definitely getting the Negan/Alpha plotline from the comics. This is gonna be good.

Damn, those shootings the movie caused could have been avoided if only he succeeded.

The guy had an emotional response to great imagery. If your first reaction is engage in elementary school-tier insults (which is all this is), you’re a miserable person. Internet culture becomes more exhaustingly negative every year, I don’t relate to any of this shit.

Many of them want to live north of the wall by choice, especially now that the WW’s are gone. There’s no indication at all that Bran has closed entry to them, it makes no sense why he would.

Um, how do you know Bran hasn’t re-purposed the Night’s Watch to do just that? The last shot is Jon helping a group of them. I don’t know why you’d need it any clearer that his mission now is to help them.

Jon & Tormund beyond the wall, and especially Arya’s adventures are prime sequel material.

The books and the show established over and over that Dany’s Dragons shared more than just an empathetic bond with her, it was almost a telepathic connection where they sensed the same things she sensed. I can easily buy Drogon knowing what the Throne is because of how deeply he understood Dany and her ambitions.

They pretty clearly establish at the end that their reason to exist is to aid the wildlings.
