That'll make 4 years between this and Spectre. Craig's entire run has been plagued by huge delays between films.

Yes, but if he returns for only a fleeting moment in the very last episode, it kind of doesn't matter. 7 episodes left.
If it doesn't happen next week, it's either never happening or only happening in the last 10 minutes of the final episode.
A lot to like in this episode, but I'm officially out of patience with the Dougie plot. I'm hoping that this theory about the ending representing the end of Dougie and return of Coop next week is correct: https://www.reddit.com/r/tw…
Right, I see what you mean. I don't really see where her plot goes if she goes in either direction tbh, so I'm indifferent.
If the author of a book or script says "this is what I meant by this", that's what it means. Full stop. Interpreting things like what the broader themes of a piece means to an individual person is something entirely different, which is a more applicable case of what I think you're talking about.
Some people on here are emotionally over-invested in their TV shows. They read the review but lose their minds at criticism in comments sections.
Clarke has somehow gotten worse as the show has gone on. Dany is my least favorite character in the books and in this, but there's still a lot a more capable actress could do in the role. Even her expressions are cringe inducingly over-acted, and there's no sense of a human being underneath.
Euron is a hollow mix of Victarion and book Euron so far IMO.
Dude what that was one of the most disgusting scenes the show has ever aired, I had to cover my damn eyes.
The direction she's going in is back to Winterfell. Back in Season 1 they were going the other way to KL. I don't know why I remember this other than because Season 1 was the best season of this show.
The tits were supposed to distract you from asking those questions (you're right, he'd have no idea what to do).
That scene was basically par for the course since Season 5. 20 good men and all that.
IIRC in the books they had absolutely no sexual desires or thoughts whatsoever, so this sub plot with Grey Worm and Missandei is… highly unlikely to ever appear in the last two.
D&D have been utterly desperate to try and get viewers to love Dany what with endless hype montages and characters repeating "You're the dragon!" that I'd be surprised if they ever actually try to make her turn heel, which attempting to kill Jon would certainly do.
Euron stuff was bad. It's telegraphed to hell that he won't die till the end of this season since they need a big bad for everyone to hate.
When is this supposed to come out? 2019?
At least he didn't say something like "I'm sorry I couldn't be there!" as if he would ever actually attend Comic Con and answer fan questions willingly.
So for comic readers, that last scene confirms they're wrapping up all out war in the first half of the season. Which is kind of nuts, but means this will be a very fast paced bundle of eps. Cautiously optimistic.
I actually watched through 2 whole episodes of that show, and by then I realized the only part that even moderately interests me is the girl she's seeing during her alter ego outings. So I watched some more of those scenes and then even that became boring.
