It already is. The news about that kid who killed themselves because they were inspired by it was absolutely awful.

Iron Fist, Gypsy, this. Not a great 2017 so far for Netflix originals.
Exactly. There's a lot of people on boards and especially Twitter who can't handle difference of opinion without becoming unhinged. They become maniacs and obsessives instead of having a discussion like a well adjusted adult. I don't really know where it comes from, but it's disturbing.
"Kermit was never my friend."
Alien Jesus? I thought that guy was ok. Weird.
Dude, I've had some extremely uncomfortable internet stalking incidents here. One time someone got so mad over an opinion I had about a TV show they essentially tried to dox me. Maybe using my real name was actually a bad idea.
I just posted this on another thread, but people being oblivious to Coop's mental state and not insisting he get checked out was a contrivance since the 4th episode. As soon as his blood gets tested and it comes back that he's actually Dale Cooper, the jig is up and soon enough Gordon and Twin Peaks find out. Of…
MacLachlan is doing amazing work between Dougie and Mr. C, I just hope we get more than a few episodes of him as Coop again.
Oh, a troll then. Blocked.
The people in this show don't know that an alternate reality has entered their reality. The show paints everyone in Vegas as typical human beings. Colleagues at work, suburban house wives, etc. People like that don't just not notice that a person they've known for years is suddenly very clearly acting like they've had…
Whenever they drop in they can never actually tell me what specifically I've said that's so reprehensible. I'm always willing to apologize to someone if I offended them over something, but 90% of my comments here are only ever about TV shows.
This still gets coverage. But The Last Kingdom S2 didn't. Smh.
Uh, what? Can you give me a rough ballpark or example of what you're talking about?
Ah, well that's good news then.
I'm not sure how Coop will feel to the state of things in general when he wakes up. Leland and Windom Earle were never as fucked up as Richard Horne, not to mention all the other crazy shit going on like the glass box monster and whatnot.
Wait, did Lynch actually say that we should wear headphones while watching this? Fuck, I've been doing it all wrong.
The ratings have been absolutely awful IIRC so I don't know if Showtime wants to pay for another season.
Yeah, the glimpse at the real Dougie we saw helps a little I guess but it still really bugs me. Of all the absurdist Lynch things going on in the world of S3, this seems the most disconnected from reality. Dougie has been the longest slow burn ever and I just hope the payoff is worth it.
That's not true at all. He's a surrealist and abstract director. There's purpose behind every scene of visceral violence he decides to show.
What we're discussing are the choices made. Deciding to censor a scene or not censor it, decide to show this or decide to show that, etc. Everything Lynch does is highly intentional so it's worth discussing why he decided to show what he shows.
